Premier Movers

Firstly, one of the 2 crew members was very inexperienced. We
observed the foremen instructing him what to do and how to do
things. He was not familiar with how to move and manipulate
item in the best and most safe way to avoid damage. We did not
receive quality work from this person and it negatively affected
the efficiency and quality of the move.
2. Overall the move took excessively long probably, in part, due to the extreme inexperience of one of the crew members and just
the shear slow movement of the whole crew! We moved with
your company only one year ago from the same type of set up,
and it took at least 3-4 hours less time with the same amount of
labor! We only acquired 2 more pieces of furniture in the interim,
but the distance to our new location was a mere five minutes
away as apposed to the half hour last time! The foreman said
“there were a lot of ‘small boxes’ but we packed exactly the
same way as last year!
3. Upon arrival at the new house, the foremen offered to either fix
the total fee or to continue working on the clock by the hour. We
chose the not fix the fee and from that point forward as we didnt
think in a million years it would take that long! Yet ofcourse we
were wrong! It was very evident that the crew slowed their work
pace purposely (especially the foreman) to run up the time
unnecessarily. This included, them unpacking slowly, not using
both hand trucks to bring boxes in the house, carrying one item
at a time in one hand with the other hand empty.
4. On top of all this, you would think that the slow “careful” move
would at least prevent any damage of objects but the opposite
was true and unacceptable.The following items were damaged
by Premier during the move:
a. Bookshelf scratched badly
b. Child’s toy car – steering wheel broken off
c. Mattress – corner damaged
d. Hardwood floor – 2 floor on the way to master bedroom –
my wife observed the crew dragging the bed frame along
the floor
5. Metal step ladder – we cannot locate our metal step ladder
anywhere in the house and we are sure it was taken from the departure point.

Service cost: $1900

I was really in a bind to find a moving company so I searched the internet and found Premier Movers.  Their sales rep, Isaac, understood my concerns and worked quickly to give me a quote.  I had to start a job the next week and needed everything in NJ taken care of before I left.  Premier made my moving experience easy and painless.  They came and packed up my 3 bedroom condo and even stored my things at no extra cost until I reached my destination.  They took care of everything and I'm truly grateful to their staff for helping me during this transition.

Let's start by saying that moving with a toddler is extremely difficult!  Seriously though, Premier Movers are my lifesavers!  They came and packed up my whole house, even with my two-year-old daughter clinging to her stuffed animals.  The guys were so patient with her as I explained to her that they would be delivering all of her toys to her new house in just a day and they realy did!  I still can't believe they moved all of our things from NJ to MA in just one day, but they did it.  David gladly handed my daughter her box of toys when we arrived at the new house just as promised.  What a wonderful company!  I can't thank you enough for helping Amber and me on this new journey.  We will surely call you again whenever we need moving help!

I had booked my move a solid month in advance. I gave a deposit as requested. Literally 48 hours before my move they called and told me to either move my date (mind you I was selling a house and buying a house the same day-aka alot of people to reschedule to just move the date), when I told them moving the date was impossible I was told "oh well can't help you" So there I was 48 hours before without a company to move me. Then I was told the deposit would be refunded right away, 2 months later and never received it. After calling them for a month and being avoided I only got my money back because I filed an invalid charge complaint with my credit card company.
These people are shady!! They lie, and are terrible as not only business owners but also at managing the business itself!! Speaking to the man that cancelled my move was talking to someone who has no experience in the moving industry! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

I got Ruben's number from my Real Estate agent and he came to my house to give me an estimate. Took note of all my items and gave me a price quote right on the spot. All the other estimators said they'd get back to me in a few days. I called Ruben the next day to book my move as I didn't want to wait too long (didn't want to lose availability). On moving day, Joseph, Dave, and Tim were extremely professional and careful with my belongings. Ruben stopped by to make sure that everything was going well..and that to me is everything. STAY AWAY!

Company gave me offer to my required day, I paid 10% deposit. After I asked for confirmation of moving date and time I got response on change in the date they can move me.Obviously I couldn't, so I asked for money back and got declined.

Very bad customer experience, very poor communication and no limited response, none to emails. Unprofessional, was treated badly, not by questions but by order "this is what's going to happen, you move 1 day earlier", etc. My sales person was Tom.
